The Gallery in the Garden is Looking for Artists

What is gallery in the garden?

Gallery in the Garden is an event sponsored by The Classic Garden, in which beautiful Birtle gardens and wonderful artwork are paired together for public enjoyment. All types of artwork will be considered...pottery, photography, sculpture, painting, glass, quilts etc.
When is gallery in the garden?

In 2017, the Gallery will be held on July 8 in Birtle, Manitoba. Proceeds go to running The Centre, a facility on Main St. in Birtle where learning the arts, woodworking, metalwork and creative gardening is encouraged & facilitated.
What we can do for the artist.
-the Gallery is a chance for you to show off your work. It is also a time that you could educate people about your art.
There is no entry fee to participate and anything you sell is all yours; no commission fees! What to expect when you participate.
-this is an outdoor event and will be held rain or shine. If the forecast is for inclement weather that your artwork cannot tolerate, there are indoor facilities where you can show your work. Please realize that an unforeseen shower or wind cannot be predicted. We will do our utmost to ensure that your art is safe.
What do you need to do for gallery in the garden?
-be involved! Consider doing a demo during the day. As education is one of the goals of this event it is preferable if the artist is on site to speak with the public. If this is not possible we are willing to work with you to set up and display your art.
-encourage participation by other artists you may know. Advertise (we have posters!) in your town.
Interested? Please contact us before June 1, to be a part of the next Gallery in the Garden.
