This time, the venue is the Dalnavert Museum in Winnipeg. The site bills itself as "small mansion, big history" -- and should prove to be the perfect location for Val's unique artwork, which focuses on recreating figures from the past with fabric and stitch.
The exhibit opens on Wednesday, August 16 and runs through September 15 at the Visitor Centre of the Museum. No mention of an Artist's Talk or Opening Reception...perhaps Val will fill us in? 😉 And...she did!
