It is with much excitement that we announce the first ever:   

                       SAQA Western Canada Retreat

                        Thursday May 4 – Sunday May 7, 2017 

                       Green Bay Bible Camp in Kelowna, BC.

Registration: The registration form will be coming to you soon via email.

Be sure to fill it out and send it in with your payment as soon as possible to reserve your spot.

All registrations must be in by February 15, 2017.

Instructors and Events:

·        Susan Purney Mark - Using Social Media

·        Judy Villett – Colour and Design

·        Dawn Hunt of Fibrework Appraisals, a Certified Quilt Appraiser – Valuing your             quilts for Insurance/Donation/Pricing to Sell.

          Dawn will also be available to do quilt appraisals at the retreat. There will           be an additional cost for these individual appraisals. A wonderful             

          opportunity to have your quilts appraised for insurance purposes, 
          charitable donation or to get an idea of their asking price.

·        Valerie Wilson – Photographing your Quilts

·        Panel discussion on Booking Venues/Showing your Work (Urban and rural perspectives)

·        Mini workshops

        - Mark Making with Susan Purney Mark

        - Printing and Stamping on Fabric with Valerie Wilson

        - Fabric Scorching Technique with Janet Scruggs

 Participants will rotate through all 3 workshops.

·        Show and Share your work

·        Free time to mix and mingle with other Western Canadian SAQA members

Optional group wine tour
